Community participation driven web app
We worked for 3form to produce The Big Picture — a concept 3form pitched to Audiences Central to raise audience participation in photography and the arts in the West Midlands.
Employing an agile development process, we were able to rapidly prototype the application, leveraging technologies such as Google Maps and Wordpress to build very simple solutions to a range of complex, and otherwise time consuming, problems.
Our favourite aspect of the project was our implementation of MMS uploading. Users could simply send a picture message from their mobile phone and become part of the World record breaking attempt. Effortless! We then built a flash based 3D gallery of the pictures uploaded via MMS to draw people into the website and engage them.
